A young girl from a small, poor town and with fairly pathetic family relations clings to her popular boyfriend and his charming family but manages to completely mangle that one positive element of her life. Grace moves to Paris and makes a decent living for herself, but this comes unraveled as her history and her path to Paris catch up with her.
