This was an on-the-deck-in-Tahoe read and was perfect for that. Really, any book I get to enjoy on the deck in Tahoe is a pleasure! It is the story of two friends who spend the bulk of their workdays communicating via the brand new office email system (really, they should lose their jobs for how much time they spend sending personal emails to each other!) The guy in charge of monitoring the employee communications for unlawful, nefarious business becomes captivated by their back and forth. It soon goes beyond the occasional glancing of their chats and becomes full-on voyeurism. The complications and romantic entanglements that ensue make for a fun story. Like AJ Fikery, this would make a cute romantic comedy movie.
