Murder on the Orient Express

By Agatha Christie

I saw an ad for the upcoming movie and decided I should read the book first. Amazingly, I had never read an Agatha Christie mystery. I was astounded to learn that after the Bible and Shakespeare, Agatha is the most read author of all time! Even if you haven’t read it, you probably all have the basic plot line down…a murder happens on a train that then gets stalled in a snow bank. Thus, the murderer must be among the dozen or so passengers. But who is it?? I liked it enough to look forward to reading more Agatha very soon. My friend, Betsy, gave me a book called 1001 Books to Read Before You Die and according to that book, Agatha’s greatest work is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, so I will choose that for my next Agatha mystery.
