The Last Romantics

By Tara Conklin

Here is a family of three sisters and one brother growing up in the 70s. Hmm, that sounds familiar J. The dad dies young and suddenly, and the mom has a massive breakdown leaving the kids to fend for themselves as only kids of the 1970s could! It is sad kids have lost that freedom and independence. After these unique childhood years, the siblings have a bond both stronger and more strained than many siblings. The book covers their constantly growing, shifting relationships from childhood into adulthood.
