The Authenticity Project

By Clare Pooley

Cute. A little…no, make that a lot…unrealistic but still tells a sweet story about a group of strangers brought together by a notebook filled with confessions of personal secrets left in public places specifically to be found. The original writer left it in a park on a whim and encourages the finder to add his or her story as a sort of catharsis and then leave it for another. Don’t focus on the implausibility of it all, just enjoy the characters and the story.

I write short, pithy, book recommendations for family and friends. My best life is comprised of my husband, my boys, my books, a quiet place, a comfortable chair, a cocktail on my side table, and a Vizsla in my lap.
