Anxious People

By Fredrik Backman

An armed robber making an escape from a bank hold-up stumbles upon an open house with 10 or so people having a viewing. Panic ensues and the situation becomes ever more complicated and hilarious as it morphs into a “hostage situation”. The officers assigned to handle the matter are a father/son team from the small town with their own set of baggage that affects how they approach this unusual event. Excellent dialogue, engaging, entertaining and funny characters. It is a hostage situation anyone would enjoy!
