Young and Pak Yoo operate a medical treatment machine called an “oxygen submarine” used to treat a range of medical ailments. As it uses copious amounts of oxygen pumped into the tank while people are seated inside, there is obviously extreme danger for fire. When just such a tragedy strikes, the reader walks through the journey of discovery about what exactly happened. You meet the Yoos and their group of patients, each with a unique set of circumstances that brought them to this desperate attempt for help. It mixes human drama with courtroom suspense.
